There is no typical day on the Pacific Yellowfin. Each trip is unique, tailor-made to the wishes of our guests. The experience on the Pacific Yellowfin is highly versatile and will pander to all ages. Our cruises find harmony in adventure and enrichment.
With that in mind, below is what your experience on board could be like.
Day 1 - Disconnect
Upon arrival, the Captain and crew welcomes you & your guests and starts a tour of the Pacific Yellowfin. After the sleeping arrangements are decided, the Captain will begin itinerary planning with you with a chart of the area: fishing, hiking, water skiing, etc, and all the must-dos.
You just have to ask!
In the afternoon, you can either relax on either of the two decks or hop into kayaks before enjoying a snack prepared by Chef Milan.
While on our way to uncover a remote fjord or bay where you will be able to fish, dive or just soak up the sun, start the day with a breakfast of your choice, French-inspired croissants and pains au chocolat, for instance . If the weather does not permit or you feel like staying on the boat, the Captain will be delighted to tell stories of the BC coast or let you manoeuvre the 120ft Pacific Yellowfin. You may also go on a tour of the engine room with Jack, the guardian of the beautifully preserved historical Atlas Imperial.
Day 3 - Regenerate
The comfort of the Pacific Yellowfin and the beauty of the landscapes make it easy to relax and regenerate. The plethora of activities on board also contribute to reconnecting with your loved ones. Head out on a beautiful hike in the morning with Dominic and have a picnic, where the only noise you will hear will be a light wind through branches or the laughter of your children.
Day 4 - Meet the locals
The coastline is home to many fascinating people. For instance, Delia & Scott, scientists and oyster farmers that will tell you all about the way oysters grow and the extensive life chain that is built around them. You will also have the opportunity to pick your own dinner on Delia & Scott's private beach before Chef Milan prepares the sea treasure upon your return. On the way back, you might be surrounded by a pool of dolphins or orcas, greeted by seals or observing bald eagles as they fly above your heads.
Day 5 - Get out there
In addition to the fishing or other activities you might have done so far, enjoy all the equipment we have on board, including our brand new 40ft inflatable slide, before refueling on another exquisite creation by Chef Milan, perfectly paired with a BC wine chosen by Jessica.
Day 6 - Make the most
After yet another succulent breakfast, go on a last tour ashore, to see either ghost towns, gold mines, hikes to mountains lakes for a cool swim or to spot more prolific wildlife. Then fly back home with, we hope, millions of wonderful memories from authentic encounters, to scrumptious meals and stellar service.
